ABOUT ISETM

Establishment
Information Security Engineering Lab, Inc.(ISETM) was founded in 2000 by a research scientist and students from Carnegie Mellon, specializing in data security and applied cryptography. The company is headquartered in Pittsburgh, PA, with development offices located in San Jose (USA), Toronto (Canada) and Beijing (China).

Innovation: Modern Cryptography + Agent Technology
ISE Lab has become a leader by exploring proactive concepts and innovative solutions combining modern cryptography and autonomous software agent technologies, which has been helping its clients to securely and seamlessly migrate their traditional operations into the digital world, for low-cost, efficient, and globalized business in the new millennium. Its flagship product SecurityAgent, which is user-centered authentication software, empowers end users with personalizable authentication management features establishing authenticated channels for a multitude of businesses and applications on the Internet. The SecurityAgent has been demonstrated to be an indispensable key tool in ubiquitous computing motivated by wireless communication, mobile devices, and embedded systems. It connects human into cyberspace, lays out an authenticated secure platform, and offers the promise of bringing us close to ubiquitous, unobtrusive computing at any place and any time, safely.

Distinguishability: Research, Contract-Based Research, Customized-Oriented Development
ISE Lab is distinguished apart from other security product providers for her conducting advanced theoretical research, contract-based practical research, as well as customized oriented application development. The technical expertise and knowledge from the research and development give her the unsurpassed ability to work with her clients, side by side, to get in-deep understanding of clients' needs and rapidly integrate anything--from "home grown" software to "off-the-shelf" products -- to create the most desired solution enhanced by the most innovative trusted techniques.

Recognition: Standards-Compliant Design and Development
ISE Lab has also gained recognition for the design and development of standards-conforming conventional and public key encryption. It offers implementations (in both software and hardware) of all popular cryptographic algorithms including: the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES), the Data Encryption Standard (DES), Triple DES (TDES), ElGamal, and RSA cryptosystems, the Digital Signature Standard (DSA), Diffie-Hellman key exchange, the Secure Hash Standards (SHA-1, SHA-256/384/512), Internet MD2/MD4/MD5 message digests, IEEE 32-bit CRC, etc.
